10 Steps to Understanding How to develop a “Spiritual Plan” in Our Lives

Caregiver Teleconnection sessions are one hour learning sessions that can be done via Zoom or over the phone for caregivers of older persons. Experts from around the country share information important to caregiving. Caregivers will have the opportunity to ask questions as well as hear from other caregivers.

Our sessions are geared for the family members taking care of a loved one over the age of 60. Professionals are also welcome to participate as well.

Spirituality is a topic many people might have difficulty defining. September is a month known for renewal. This month is a month in which the hot summer days gradually give way to the cool autumn nights. The spiritual meaning of September is linked to the refocusing of energies.

Spiritual practice can help all of us as caregivers, employees and patients cope with illness, pain, and general life stresses. It can help all of us to have a better outlook in our lives and create a better quality of life. Are you committed to your spiritual growth, but struggle to balance life in the modern world with your desire to become more spiritual?

If so, you’re not alone. In fact, at some point, almost everyone asks how to live a more spiritual life, and lead a life that is in alignment with their own values. Regardless of your religion, background, family-status, or career, spirituality is something that we innately need, in one form or another. Come Join Dr Jamie, Tammy and the ESRT Team this month as we take on this often perplexing but important conversation with you.
