The WellMed Charitable Foundation (WCF) is seeking to award grants in local WellMed markets. The WellMed Charitable Foundation supports older persons (age 60+) and their family caregivers as a primary focus of our mission. For this grant cycle, our primary focus is on senior food insecurity, but we will accept applications related to social determinants of health. The WCF intends to award one or more grants in each of the following areas:
|Market||2019 Grant Proposal|
|El Paso||$ 10,000|
|San Antonio||$ 20,000|
|Ft. Myers||$ 5,000|

The deadline for grant proposals is December 20, 2019. WCF awards are based on the quality of the proposals; therefore, the Foundation Board of Directors may elect not to award a grant or to award more than one grant in any given area. Grant agreements will be finalized by January 31, 2020. Please direct any questions to email@example.com.
