Sherri J Chappell-Pratt, LCSW
Sherri Chapell-Pratt, LMSW, has been the Director of General Counseling Services at The Women's Center of Tarrant County since 2002. With more than 38 years of counseling experience, she supervises the program's individual and group counseling, the Helpline, Legal Clinic and the innovative PEARLS program - a specialized program that helps older adults overcome depression and social isolation. She also oversees the collaboration of services with Cook Children's for homeless families and with Fort Worth Independent School District for specialized youth counseling.
A graduate of the University of Kansas with a Masters degree in Social Work, Sherri is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, the Social Isolation and Loneliness Coalition of Texas (SILCTX) and the Tarrant County Mental Health Connection, where served on the Access committee. She is married with 2 adult children and 1 grandchild. She is a proud member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
