Nestor H. Praderio
Dr. Praderio is a Diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, as well as Geriatric Psychiatry. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
His academic appointments former Assistant Clinical Professor with Yale University Department of Psychiatry and currently an Assistant Clinical Professor at Texas A&M Health Science Center.
Dr. Praderio is also the Chairman of the Psychiatric Department of Christus Spohn Hospital System.
His research interests are various and are reflected by numerous presentations, workshops and publications on geriatric psychiatry as well as public and community activities.
He participates as a speaker for the following pharmaceutical companies: Pfizer, Novaritis , Lilly, Forest, Janssen, Elion and Wyeth.
He is also the founder and president of "Face to Face" which is a no-profit organization and Alzheimer's Support Group. All of his time dedicated to this organization is volunteered and it includes; monthly meetings in which he speaks to family, caregivers and clinicians, annual "Face to Face Festival" and a yearly Coastal Bend Walk for Memory.
