The WellMed Charitable Foundation recently returned to Tampa for our second TopGolf fundraiser in the market. WellMed and Optum colleagues in the market enjoyed a beautiful night of golf alongside our business partners and senior center members for a good cause.

Congratulations to our first place team representing Dr. Ricardo Marin. Other team winners included the Supportive Care team sponsored by Dr. Elizabeth Glazier, Sharp General Contractors and the Sun City Senior Center. Overall, the event raised $75,000 for the foundation.  Proceeds will benefit older adults and caregivers across Florida.

A special thanks to our Presenting Sponsors: Press Ganey, Sharp General Contractors, Cintas and Wilson & Company Construction.  The Tampa tournament is one of three fundraising events held by the WCF this year.  Our next stop will be at TopGolf in Dallas on June 26 followed by the WCF Golf Classic in San Antonio on Monday, October 6.
