Safe Use of Medication for Seniors and their Caregivers
Caregiver Teleconnection sessions are one hour learning sessions that can be done via Zoom or over the phone for caregivers of older persons. Experts from around the country share information important to caregiving. Caregivers will have the opportunity to ask questions as well as hear from other caregivers.
Our sessions are geared for the family members taking care of a loved one over the age of 60. Professionals are also welcome to participate as well.
Do you have questions about how to manage your medications?
• Are you concerned about how to recognize potential drug interactions
and how to store and remember to take medicine appropriately?
• Do you know how to store your medications correctly?
• Do you know if you are taking your medicines the right way?
Please join Lucy Barylak, MSW for the first of two sessions where she will cover all of these areas and more, as well as providing information about what to be concerned about if you’re hospitalized, and other lifestyle and wellness issues.
