Laurie Miller, Owner and Administrator, co-founded Apple Care and Companion in 2006 with her mother. Apple Care is a caregiving agency in Dallas, Texas, providing daily care and companionship for the person receiving care as well as for the family and caregivers who support their loved ones. Laurie is a well-known and respected advocate for older adults and their families, is active in the elder care professional community, including (DAGS) Dallas Area Gerontological Society, and took a lead role in starting the first Compassion Fatigue Symposium in Dallas.
