A Series of Emotions How to Deal with Anger
Caregiver Teleconnection sessions are one hour learning sessions that can be done via Zoom or over the phone for caregivers of older persons. Experts from around the country share information important to caregiving. Caregivers will have the opportunity to ask questions as well as hear from other caregivers.
Our sessions are geared for the family members taking care of a loved one over the age of 60. Professionals are also welcome to participate as well.
Caregivers often experience a series of common emotions in the process of providing care. When we don’t address these emotions, they can impact upon our physical and mental health. This series will provide a forum to discuss these feelings and experiences, along with practical tips and answers to your questions. At the end of this session, for those that are interested, Elliot and Lucy will stay on the line and offer personal support. This part of the program will not be recorded. How to Deal with Anger Many of us feel frustrated, overwhelmed, and angry at times along the caregiving journey. Interpersonal conflict can also surface when it comes to sharing responsibilities and making difficult decisions. This session will address healthy ways to deal with anger and conflict.
