The Emotional Impact of COVID-19 in Long Term Care
The uncertainty of the pandemic and how we live with it remains a focal point in our society. It has created unprecedented mental, and emotional stress in our lives. The chaos is significantly compounded for those living in Long Term Care. Dr. Praderio will lead a Question and Answer session to discuss the confusion, fear, anxiety, isolation and other emotions our loved ones may be experiencing.

Nestor H. Praderio
Nestor H. Praderio, M.D. was born and raised in Argentina. He is a graduate of the University of La Plata School of Medicine and completed his residence in psychiatry at the Yale University affiliated program of Connecticut Valley Hospital in Middletown, Connecticut. His special interest is focused on Geriatric Psychiatry. He is a consultant of many nursing centers and assisted living units in South Texas.
He is also the founder and president of "Face to Face" which is a no-profit organization and Alzheimer's Support Group. All of his time dedicated to this organization is volunteered and it includes; monthly meetings in which he speaks to family, caregivers and clinicians, annual "Face to Face Festival" and a yearly Coastal Bend Walk for Memory.
