WellMed Charitable Foundation 2019 Grant Announcement

The WellMed Charitable Foundation (WCF) is seeking to award grants in local WellMed markets. The WellMed Charitable Foundation supports older persons (age 60+) and their family caregivers as a primary focus of our mission. For this grant cycle, our primary focus is on senior food insecurity, but we will accept applications related to social determinants of health. The WCF intends to award one or more grants in each of the following areas:

Austin, Texas » $10,000

Rio Grande Valley, Texas » $10,000

Corpus, Texas » $10,000

Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas » $20,000

El Paso, Texas » $10,000

San Antonio, Texas » $20,000

Ft. Myers, Fla. » $5,000

Miami, Fla. » $10,000

Orlando, Fla. » $10,000

Tampa, Fla. » $20,000

Treasure Coast, Fla. » $10,000

Jacksonville, Fla. » $5,000

Organizations wishing to submit a proposal must submit their applications using the grant application system that is found on our website, GrantRequest.com

The deadline for grant proposals is December 20, 2019. WCF awards are based on the quality of the proposals; therefore, the Foundation Board of Directors may elect not to award a grant or to award more than one grant in any given area.
