Caregiver Specialist

Jennifer Brackett is a dedicated Caregiver Support Specialist with the Caregiver SOS program through the WellMed Charitable Foundation. Born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, and has proudly called San Antonio home for the past 25 years. She has devoted over two decades to the fields of aging and caregiving, with a passion for enhancing the lives of older adults. She is a graduate of The University of Texas San Antonio and the University of North Texas, where she earned her Master of Science degree in Gerontology, focusing on the management of community-based organizations. Her commitment to serving older adults extends into program development, caregiving, community relations, fundraising, and resource navigation.

Jennifer’s passion for working with older adults was instilled at a young age through her close relationship with her grandparents. She learned early on the importance of compassion, wisdom, and the value of life experiences shared by older generations. These lessons have shaped her lifelong commitment to supporting aging individuals and their families.

As a certified Master Trainer for the Stress Busting Program for Family Caregivers, Jennifer helps those caring for loved ones with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or chronic illness. She is dedicated to promoting aging in place and enhancing the quality of life for caregivers and the older adults they serve through education, support, and compassion.
