Gloria Miranda is a graduate of the University of Texas at Brownsville, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology. Gloria is a native of the Rio Grande Valley and has been serving as Program Manager for Caregiver SOS since 2011. In 2014, Gloria relocated to San Antonio to develop the bilingual program for Caregiver SOS at the Elvira Cisneros Senior Center. Gloria is a certified Master Trainer for evidence-based programs such as: Stress-Busting Programs. Gloria currently serves as the Chair for the Alzheimers Hispanic Outreach Committee. She is also part of the Bexar Countys Health Collaborative, and is presently the Policy & Government Chair for the Latino Caucus of the American Public Health Association (APHA). Gloria received the Nationally Known Health Professional Award in 2016, awarded by the APHA Latino Caucus in Denver, Colorado.
