Depression is much more complex than just sadness and loss of interest. Depression in those with Alzheimer’s Disease is not uncommon and requires immediate diagnosis and intervention. Nestor H. Praderio, M.D. will review the parallel symptoms, diagnostic process and plan of care.

Dr. Nestor H Praderio
Nestor H. Praderio, M.D. was born and raised in Argentina. He is a graduate of the University of La Plata School of Medicine and completed his residence in psychiatry at the Yale University affiliated program of Connecticut Valley Hospital in Middletown, Connecticut. His special interest is focused on Geriatric Psychiatry. He is a consultant of many nursing centers and assisted living units in South Texas.
He is also the founder and president of "Face to Face" which is a no-profit organization and Alzheimer's Support Group. All of his time dedicated to this organization is volunteered and it includes; monthly meetings in which he speaks to family, caregivers and clinicians, annual "Face to Face Festival" and a yearly Coastal Bend Walk for Memory.
