Setting personal boundaries is an important step in managing the stress of caregiving. This session will help participants understand what it means to set boundaries, why it is important to set boundaries, and strategies for setting boundaries. Participants will hear strategies from other caregivers on this important topic and will be able to share their own questions and comments.
Evalyn Greb, LCSW
Evalyn Greb graduated in 1973 with a Master of Science in Social Work, emphasis in Community Organization, from San Diego State University and has worked locally ever since. She started two of the State and County’s first Adult Day Health Care Centers, organized and administered a hospital social work department, and procured funding for and administered eight case management programs for elderly and disabled persons while working for the County of San Diego. During the last nine years with the County, Evalyn was the lead staff person for the Long Term Care Integration Project. Since her retirement from the County, Evalyn has consulted with public programs, foundations, and private agencies to improve the quality of life for persons with disabilities and elderly persons. She is a California Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
