Grief and loss cause many emotions and feelings. Not all of them have to be negative. There can be peace and hope intertwined within the feelings of emptiness and sadness. Learning to balance the multitude of feelings when losing a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease can be achievable. Join gerontologist, Dr. Natalee Oliver, DSW as she helps you process the roller-coaster of emotions you experience when saying goodbye to someone with Alzheimer’s.

Dr. Natalee Oliver, DSW
Dr. Natalee Oliver is a clinical social worker and has her doctorate in social work. She is a gerontologist and works full-time at McLennan Community College in Waco, TX as the Program Director for the Long-Term Care Administration Program. Natalee is an advocate for older adults and has volunteered her time serving caregivers for those with dementia in many capacities since 2007.
