Dr. Nestor H. Praderio nos guiara a través de las múltiples facetas de cuidado a través de la progresión de la enfermedad de demencia. Compartirá información de recursos vitales para opciones de apoyo en el hogar y en la comunidad para seres queridos con la enfermedad de Alzheimer y demencia relacionada, que incluyen:

  • Acceso a recursos comunitarios para apoyar la prestación de cuidados
  • Opciones de asistencia para la atención en el hogar
  • Conversación sincera sobre cuando nuestros seres queridos ya no pueden vivir en case.
  • Proceso de colocación de cuidados a largo plazo.

Nestor H. Praderio, M.D. will guide us through the multiple facets of Caregiving through the progression of the disease. He will share vital resource information for in-home and community-based support options for loved ones with Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementia including:

  • Accessing Community Based resources to support caregiving
  • In-home Care Support Options
  • Candid conversation about when our loved ones can no longer live at home.
  • Long term care placement process.

Dr. Nestor H. Praderio
Nestor H. Praderio, M.D. was born and raised in Argentina. He is a graduate of the University of La Plata School of Medicine and completed his residence in psychiatry at the Yale University affiliated program of Connecticut Valley Hospital in Middletown, Connecticut. His special interest is focused on Geriatric Psychiatry. He is a consultant of many nursing centers and assisted living units in South Texas. He is also the founder and president of "Face to Face" which is a no-profit organization and Alzheimer's Support Group. All of his time dedicated to this organization is volunteered and it includes; monthly meetings in which he speaks to family, caregivers and clinicians, annual "Face to Face Festival" and a yearly Coastal Bend Walk for Memory.
