A través de reflexiones sinceras y consejos prácticos, los asistentes obtendrán una comprensión más profunda de la experiencia del cuidador y aprenderán a navegar por su propio viaje de cuidado con resiliencia y compasión.

Zahydie L. Burgos Ribot, PsyD
Zahydie L. Burgos Ribot PsyD, was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She is a graduate from Ponce School of Medicine, and completed her internship and post-doctorate in Florida. She has vast experience in treating patients suffering from chronic and acute psychiatric conditions who come from diverse multicultural backgrounds and from all paths of life.Dr. Burgos Ribot has served as Psychology Clinical Director for the Florida Department of Corrections, and for the past six years, as Clinical Director at Access Behavioral Care Associates. Currently, she is a caregiver for her husband, who is diagnosed with Young Onset Familial Alzheimer's Disease. Most of her time now is spent advocating and consulting on dementia/geriatric mental health issues for many nursing centers and assisted living units in Central Florida.
