It is with great sadness that we announce the closure of the Austin Senior Activity Center by the WellMed Charitable Foundation effective December 16, 2025.
The center, opened in its current location in 2023, shares space with the WellMed clinic at Ben White (4715 S. Lamar Blvd., Suite 100). Due to the closure of this clinic location, we are also closing.
Our goal was to relocate the center before the closure, but we were unable to secure a suitable space in time. The search for a new location will continue in 2026, and we will notify you if one is found.
The following are alternative locations that provide meals and programs in South Austin:
South Austin Senior Activity Center
Conley Guerrero Senior Activity Center
Lamar Senior Activity Center

We will continue to serve the Austin community via our virtual senior center, online support services for caregivers and through direct giving to local non-profit organizations that support older adults in Central Texas.
