Helen Flores, BS
Helen Flores, BS in Health, is an UTSA graduate from 1998. She immediately went into geriatric care service thereafter graduation. Her work in assisted living doing both marketing and programming, employment and volunteer work at the Alzheimer’s Association, and helping seniors stay in the home environment prepared her to be a respected aging life care manager. Currently, Helen works for Sage Care Management in San Antonio, Texas.
Accepting challenges and supporting the elder, along with their family, is Helen’s forte.
She is the Vice President of the Board for the Alamo Area Home Care Council and a past Master Trainer for the Stress Buster Program for Family Caregiver. Helen is a former Board Member of the Alzheimer’s Association and currently, helps on the committee to prepare the Annual Educational Summit for them. She also is an original member of the Bexar County Family Support Caregiver Coalition.
