WCF Executive Director appointed to Texas Nonprofit Council

Congratulations to WellMed Charitable Foundation Executive Director, Carol Zernial!

She was appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to serve in the Texas Nonprofit Council. Carol and other leaders from nonprofit organizations in the state begin their terms starting this month until October 2024. The council will advise state agencies about contracting relationships, improving and developing best practices, and identifying and addressing gaps in faith-based and community organization services.
