Brownen Zilmer
After Bronwen Zilmer's dad passed away in 2010 from Alzheimer's disease at the age of 63 she made it her personal mission to help families dealing with this disease. She created and coordinates a weekly caregiver day out program called The Oasis in Lewisville, TX and also facilitates a monthly caregiver support group. Bronwen has volunteered with the Alzheimer's Association for over a decade. She served as a Congressional Ambassador to Congressman Burgess for the Alzheimer's Association in 2012 and 2013 and is an Alzheimer’s Association Community Educator. She, her husband Dan and her two daughters live in Highland Village, TX.
