Congratulations to Carol Zernial, SVP of social responsibility and WellMed Charitable Foundation executive director, for being named the San Antonio Business Journal’s 2022 Nonprofit and Corporate Philanthropy Award winner.

Hired as the WellMed Charitable Foundation’s first employee in 2009, Carol has worked tirelessly to create and expand programs to benefit older adults and their caregivers and provide funding to non-profits who fulfill the same mission.
