Dr. Dean Kellogg joins host Ron Aaron and cohost Carol Zernial to talk about Age-ameliorating pharmacology on this edition of Caregiver SOS.

About Dr. Kellogg

Dean L. Kellogg Jr., MD, PhD, has extensive experience in human research, including physiological and pathophysiological mechanistic studies, as well as randomized clinical trials. His current work focuses on integrative physiology studies of autonomic neurovascular and endothelial function in individuals with spinal cord injuries and patients with Long COVID.

Dr. Kellogg is actively involved in clinical trials investigating rapamycin and other senomorphic/senolytic agents in older adults, with an emphasis on their effects on physical function, cardiovascular health, cognition, and immunological/inflammaging processes. Additionally, his research examines altered functional capacity, autonomic regulation, and endothelial, cardiac, and vascular functions, as well as immunosenescence in aging populations. Dr. Kellogg is responsible for the design and oversight of all aspects of these studies. His clinical expertise lies in Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, and Geriatric Clinical Pharmacology.
