The WellMed Charitable Foundation (WCF) is happy to award grants of a total of $340,000 to the following agencies in local WellMed markets. These grants are made possible thanks to the contributions of WellMed employees to the WellMed Charitable Foundation.
The foundation has a mission in common with these agencies: to support older persons (age 60+) and their family caregivers. For this grant cycle, the WCF’s primary focus was on social determinants of health, including food insecurity, economic security, transportation, housing, and social isolation. Congratulations to the grantees!
